These terms

These are the terms on which we sell to you. They apply to consumers buying through this website. If you are buying for a business, ask us for trade terms instead, because your cancellation rights are different.

How the contract is formed

Placing an order is an offer to buy. We accept it when we email to say the goods have been dispatched, and a contract comes into being at that point. If we cannot supply what you ordered, we will tell you and refund you in full.

Prices and payment

Prices are in pounds sterling and include VAT. Delivery is free to any UK address, so the price shown is the price you pay. Nothing is added at checkout.

Payment is taken at checkout by Stripe. We do not see or store your card details.

We try hard to price correctly. If we spot an obvious error before dispatch we will contact you and you can confirm at the right price or cancel.

Our liability

We are responsible for loss you suffer that is a foreseeable result of us breaking these terms or failing to use reasonable care. We are not responsible for loss that was not foreseeable, or for business losses, since we supply to consumers for domestic use.

We do not limit our liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, for fraud, or for anything else the law does not allow us to limit.

Our products are designed to sit on or hook over a range cooker. Use them sensibly: do not leave textiles unattended in contact with a hot surface, and follow the cooker manufacturer's own guidance.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales, and you can bring proceedings in the courts of England and Wales. If you live in Scotland or Northern Ireland you may also bring proceedings there.
